DOMAINE ALBERT BOXLER Riesling Sommerberg D Grand Cru (2017)
White Wine, Riesling
| Vintage: 2017 |
2017 – Classic – A relatively dry and sunny season with good flowering and an early harvest. Chardonnay generally retained freshness while achieving full ripeness. The wines are pure, precise, and harmonious, with bright citrus fruit, moderate concentration, and fine mineral definition. They are less monumental than 2014 but beautifully balanced.

Domaine Albert Boxler
The historic Domaine Albert Boxler has been producing wine since 1673 in Niedermorschwihr in Alsace and has since remained continuously owned by the Boxler family. The winery owes its name to Albert, which returned to his homeland after the Second World War from Montana, USA, and began to bottle and market the wines of the estate itself under its own label. The charming, contemporary label, designed by his cousin, is still used today. Albert's son Jean-Marc continued the inheritance until he handed over the management of the winery to his son Jean in 1996.
